This is a fixed version of the CTD bug that was present in the original release.
There are some things to note about this mod. Firstly, it is a standalone modification that does not need to be used alongside other mods, it is intended to be used on its own. Secondly, the paintjob is only available on the heavy and minigun variants of the combat armor, as this is the only mod that provides this option. Finally, you will need to complete the mission "Taking Independence" in order to be able to access the paintjob and the other modifications.
If you are wondering why the paintjob is only available on the heavy and minigun variants of the combat armor, it is because Endormoon & #39;s mod adds separate categories for the Paint and Decal of the Combat Armor, so it no longer overwrites the Material section. I personally recommend this version of the mod.
It might be a good idea to set Fallout4.ini to "Read Only" once you have finished editing just so the game won't overwrite anything.
Finally, you will need to complete the mission "Taking Independence" to be able to access the other modifications.
